WoLEX can be told to wake up devices via a text file containing the MAC addresses of the devices to wake using the command-line.
ENTERPRISE EDITION
Multiple address books can be created; each address book contains its own list of devices.
ENTERPRISE EDITION
The standard address book within the Free and Home editions
are Local
address books, in that they are stored on the local computer WoLEX is running on.
The Enterprise edition supports both Local
and Remote
address books.
A Remote
address book resides on a (HTTP) web-server and is synchronised to all copies of WoLEX that point to it.
This allows the hosting of address books on a centralised server; useful within enterprise and corporate environments, and for
having a backed-up address book.
ENTERPRISE EDITION
Waking-up a number of devices can put a strain on the power systems powering those devices; to eliminate any surges on the power system, WoLEX supports waking up multiple devices with a (configurable) delay in-between each device.
